The Cave is a brand new game from Double Fine that feels very reminiscent of much loved cult classics from the past. Made by the creative minds that brought such games as Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle, it looks to blend old-school gameplay with visual ascetics close to that of Trine. Similar to past games, you choose to play as a variety of different characters each with their own background and abilities. The nuance comes in due to the fact that all of the puzzles have various solutions dependent of the characters which you’ve chosen to play. Published by SEGA, look for Double Fine’s latest downloadable game, The Cave, to launch on Steam/PSN/XBL next week for $15.
